- "Superancient Deepsea King Coelacanth" effect that negates card effects when it is targeted is a Quick Effect. This effect can be activated multiple times during the same turn and it can be activated during the Damage Step.
- When "Exiled Force's" effect targets "Superancient Deepsea King Coelacanth", "Exiled Force's" effect can be negated even though it is now in the Graveyard.

OCG Rulings

- Discarding one card from your Hand is a Cost to activate the effect which Special Summons Fish-Type monster from your Deck.
- Tributing one Fish-Type monster is a Cost to activate the "Negate the activation of a Spell Card/Trap Card/Effect Monster's effect which targets this card" effect.
