You can discard Machine-Type monsters whose Levels total 8 or more to Special Summon this card from your hand or Graveyard. When this card is destroyed by battle and sent to the Graveyard, select 1 card your opponent controls and destroy it. Also, when this face-up card you control is targeted by the effect of an opposing Effect Monster, look at your opponent's hand and discard 1 card from it.

(A monster can only be equipped with up to 1 Union Monster at a time. If the equipped monster would be destroyed, destroy this card instead.)
